Working with us

Clear terms before any work begins

Fixed fees, agreed up front, with one point of contact and a written scope. Here’s how contracting, payment and changes work when you engage Amanex.

Pricing

Fixed fees, agreed up front

You know the price before we start. Each step, Diagnose, Fix and the optional Sustain, has its own fixed fee, set in writing once we’ve agreed on scope. There are no hourly meters running in the background and no surprise invoices.

Paying for the work

Procurement for agencies, funder support for nonprofits

Public agencies

We work with procurement for school districts, colleges and other public bodies. Send us your forms and requirements and we’ll complete what’s needed to get set up as a vendor.

Nonprofits

Many funders will cover our work as capacity building. We can help you describe the engagement in terms a funder recognizes.

Service businesses

A simple agreement and a fixed fee per step.

Scope

What we’ll do, written down, and how it can change

Before work begins, you get a short written scope: the problem we’re fixing, what’s included, what isn’t, the timeline and how we’ll measure the result. It’s the reference point for everything that follows.

If you want to add something mid-stream, we write a short change order that states the new work, its fee and its effect on the timeline. Nothing is added until you approve it in writing.

Paperwork

Vendor documents, ready when you ask

Your purchasing office will want paperwork. We provide a W-9 on request, and we’ll complete your district or agency vendor forms.

Accountability

One person accountable from start to finish

One point of contact leads your engagement. That person runs the check-ins, keeps the plan current and tells you early if anything slips. You never have to wonder who to call.

Common questions

Questions about fees, contracts and procurement

How do you set the fee?

We set it after the first conversation and a look at the scope: the size of your organization, the process involved and the timeline. You get one fixed number per step, in writing, before you commit.

Can you work with our procurement process?

Yes. We work with procurement for public agencies, including school districts and colleges. Tell us your requirements early and we’ll plan the timeline around them.

Will a funder really pay for this?

Many funders cover operational improvement as capacity building for nonprofits. We can’t promise a specific funder’s decision, but we can help you frame the request and the expected results.

What happens if the scope changes?

We write a short change order covering the new work, the fee and the effect on the timeline. Nothing changes until you approve it.

Do we have to commit to all three steps?

No. Diagnose stands on its own, and you decide at the end whether to move to Fix. Sustain is always optional.

What do you need from us to get started?

A signed agreement, a sponsor who can make decisions, and access to the records that show how the work runs today. We send a short list of exactly what we need in the first week.

Tell us what’s breaking.

In 30 minutes we’ll tell you honestly whether we can help and what a diagnostic would show.
